Fusilli Rosa

Fusilli Rosa

One of my all-time fave pastas — and she’s seriously so delicious! Quick, minimal ingredients, max flavor. The real star of this dish? Stefano Faita’s Rosée sauce ✨ It gives straight-up Italian restaurant vibes in your own kitchen. You can find the sauce at Sobey’s, Safeway or Co-op (if you’re in western Canada). Make this once, and I promise… you’ll be dreaming about it next week. I always am ☁️💖

You’ll need:

  • 1 jar Stefano Faita’s rosée sauce
  • 3 Italian sausages (removed from the casing)
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • 2 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 300-350 grams fusilli pasta (I used GF for this recipe)
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  1. In a pot, melt butter and add olive oil. Once butter is melted, add sausage. Break the sausage apart and cook until browned.
  2. Add onions and mushrooms. Keep stirring and cook until onions are translucent.
  3. Add garlic and Italian seasoning. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add rose sauce. Add some water into the jar and shake it up to get all of the extra sauce. Stir occasionally and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, in a pot add water and some salt. Bring to a boil and add your fusilli. Cook until al dente (or your preference).
  6. Add pasta to the sauce and mix well.
  7. Top with fresh parsley and Parmesan.
  8. Enjoy! 😋
