They’re buttery, not too sweet, a little earthy, a little fancy, and just ridiculously good with a cup of tea.

Recipe:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 heaping tbsp of matcha powder
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pistachios and some extra for topping
- Pinch of salt
- White chocolate
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Mix in the flour, matcha and salt.
- Stir in pistachios.
- Roll dough into a log, wrap with plastic wrap and put into the fridge for at least an hour.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Slice the dough into 1/2 inch slices. Place cookies on a greased baking sheet or parchment lined. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.
- Melt white chocolate and drizzle on top of cookies. Sprinkle with extra pistachios on top. Enjoy! 😋💚
